Provisional 80G & 12A are granted initially to a New NGO as well as to any other NGO which is applying for the first time.
The validity of Provisional registration is as follows:-
- Three years from the date of registration
- Within six month from the commencement of charitable activities.
However, if an NGO wants to directly apply for Final registrations, it can do so also.
